You will work with Android native development, mobile security, authentication standards, and modern passwordless authentication technologies.\nIn this role, you will implement FIDO2, WebAuthn, Passkeys, Biometrics, YubiKey, and TOTP-based authentication on Android platforms while integrating with the Ping Identity ecosystem, including PingFederate, PingOne, and PingID.\n*Cognizant cannot provide sponsorship for this role now or in the future.*\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, and support authentication capabilities for enterprise Android applications.\nImplement FIDO2, WebAuthn, Passkeys, Biometrics, YubiKey, and TOTP-based authentication.\nIntegrate Android applications with PingFederate, PingOne, and PingID.\nDevelop native Android applications using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Jetpack Compose.\nSupport the Android application lifecycle and deliver responsive mobile user interfaces using Material Design.\nWork model\n\nAt Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our various wellbeing programs. Rest assured, we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n7 or more years of Android or full-stack development experience.\n5 or more years of Identity and Access Management experience.\n3 or more years of FIDO2 and passwordless authentication implementation experience.\nExperience with native Android development using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Jetpack Compose.\nExperience implementing FIDO2, WebAuthn, Passkeys, Biometrics, YubiKey, and TOTP-based authentication.\nExperience integrating with the Ping Identity ecosystem, including PingFederate, PingOne, and PingID.\nKnowledge of the Android developer ecosystem, Google Play Console, and Android application lifecycle management.\nExperience with Material Design and responsive mobile user interface development.\nWe’re excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
