Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nImportant Disclaimer:\n**Please note: A few of our roles may require in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client locations, depending on project or client needs.**\n**Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future**\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, and implement scalable backend applications and analytics solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.\nTranslate business requirements into effective technical solutions and confidently lead technical discussions with product managers, technical leads, and other stakeholders.\nBuild high-quality application features by following industry coding standards, developing unit tests, and meeting established code-coverage expectations.\nSupport the complete software delivery lifecycle, including application testing, CI/CD deployment, production release, monitoring, and troubleshooting.\nCreate and maintain technical designs and service specifications while providing guidance to developers on functional and technical documentation.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n6+ years of software development experience, with advanced proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.\nHands-on experience developing and supporting scalable backend applications in a cloud environment.\nStrong experience with Apache Kafka or another enterprise messaging or queueing technology.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and modern application deployment practices.\nExperience working in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.\nThese will help you stand out\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.\nExperience designing large-scale, high-volume, or distributed applications.\nKnowledge of cloud-based analytics solutions and architectures.\nExperience implementing application monitoring and observability solutions.\nAbility to guide developers and contribute to technical design and documentation standards.\nWe’re excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
