You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work collaboratively with business analysts, architects, product owners, offshore teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality technology solutions.\nIn This Role, You Will\nLead and mentor a team of Java developers across application development, enhancements, testing, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nDesign, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.\nBuild and maintain batch processing solutions, data transformation services, XML-to-JSON conversion capabilities, and integration components.\nDevelop and support OpenText Exstream solutions for document composition, customer communication management, print workflows, and archival integrations.\nDrive CI/CD implementation, release management, cloud migration, deployment automation, version upgrades, and platform modernization initiatives while promoting engineering best practices.\nWork Model\nWe believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat You Need to Have to Be Considered\n8+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST APIs, and microservices.\nHands-on experience developing and supporting enterprise applications, including production deployments, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and issue resolution.\nStrong experience with OpenText Exstream or HP Exstream customer communication management platforms.\nProficiency in Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix Shell scripting, and relational database technologies including SQL Server and MongoDB.\nExperience with CI/CD and DevOps tools including Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, Gradle, OpenShift, AWS, and Ansible.\nExperience leading development activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, supporting release management, and collaborating with business and vendor stakeholders.\nWorking knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and prompting techniques, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude, as part of the software development lifecycle.\nThese Will Help You Stand Out\nExperience working within trading or capital markets environments.\nExperience leading Java modernization, cloud migration, and enterprise transformation initiatives.\nStrong background in API development, batch processing, and enterprise integration solutions.\nExperience supporting large-scale customer communication management platforms and document processing systems.\nStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative software delivery practices.\nWe're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
