Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot.\nBuild and support scalable microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.\nDevelop and integrate RESTful APIs across multiple applications and services.\nCreate automation tools, scripts, and supporting services using Python.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions.\nParticipate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and architectural discussions.\nEnsure applications meet security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability standards.\n\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n6+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java.\nStrong proficiency with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.\nHands-on experience designing and building microservices architectures and distributed systems.\nExperience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.\nProficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or service development.\nStrong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.\nExperience with Git and modern version control practices.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nStrong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.\nThese will help you stand out\nExperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\nFamiliarity with messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.\nExperience working in Agile and Scrum development environments.\nExposure to cloud-native architecture and container orchestration solutions.\nExperience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.\nWe're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD $60,000 and CAD $95,000 per year.
