You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, developers, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern development frameworks.\nBuild and support RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot in cloud-native environments.\nDevelop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and collaborate on scalable platform solutions.\nImplement event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka and MQ technologies for real-time messaging and integration.\nTroubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance, scalability, reliability, and security while following software engineering best practices.\nWork model\nWe believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring up to 3 days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Orlando, FL or Pittsburgh, PA or NY New York City or NJ New Jersey City.
