stories and business requirements; identify technical dependencies, clarify requirements, and provide development estimates.\nDesign, develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain scalable Java-based applications, services, and integrations.\nDevelop, enhance, and support Perl applications, scripts, batch jobs, and legacy processing components.\nTranslate functional requirements into clean, secure, maintainable, and well-documented technical solutions.\nDesign and develop RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations with upstream and downstream systems.\nBuild and support batch-processing, event-driven, and cloud-native workloads.\nWrite unit tests and support integration, system, regression, and user-acceptance testing activities.\nInvestigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve application and production issues within agreed timelines.\nParticipate in peer code reviews and promote best practices for code quality, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.\nCollaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nPrepare and maintain technical Qualifications:\n8+ years of professional software development experience.\nStrong hands-on Java development experience, including core Java, object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling, multithreading, and performance tuning.\nStrong Perl programming and scripting experience, including maintenance and enhancement of legacy applications, scripts, and batch-processing solutions.\nExperience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.\nStrong SQL and relational database experience, including query development, troubleshooting, data analysis, and performance optimization.\nExperience with unit testing, debugging, defect remediation, code reviews, and production support.\nExperience working with source-control systems and collaborative software-development practices.\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical requirements and deliver practical solutions.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.\nRequired AWS and Cloud Expertise\nHands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Java-based applications in AWS environments.\nWorking knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, API Gateway, and ECS or EKS.\nExperience developing and supporting cloud-native APIs, batch-processing workloads, and event-driven integrations.\nExperience with AWS-managed storage and database services, including Amazon S3 and Amazon RDS.\nExperience using CloudWatch logs, metrics, alerts, and dashboards to monitor and troubleshoot applications.\nUnderstanding of AWS security practices, including IAM roles and policies, least-privilege access, encryption, secrets management, and secure network configuration.\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code and automated environment provisioning using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or comparable tools.\nExperience integrating AWS deployments into CI/CD pipelines, including automated build, test, release, rollback, and deployment processes.\nAbility to
