Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Washington - DC.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n8+ years of overall IT experience in software development and enterprise application delivery.\nProven experience within the Capital Markets and Banking industry.\nStrong hands-on development experience with Java and Python.\nExperience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.\nKnowledge of cloud technologies and modern application development methodologies.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nExperience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nThese will help you stand out\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\nKnowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.\nExperience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.\nUnderstanding of regulatory, risk, or trading platforms within Capital Markets environments.\nExposure to performance tuning and optimization of large-scale enterprise applications.\nWe're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
