Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n6-9 years of relevant experience in designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise Mainframe applications.\nStrong hands-on experience in CA Gen/CoolGen application development, which is a must-have requirement for this role.\nStrong technical proficiency in Mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, TSO/ISPF, and VSAM.\nProven experience with application development, enhancements, maintenance, and production support of business-critical Mainframe applications.\nStrong knowledge of DB2/SQL, including database queries, data analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.\nExperience with batch processing, including job scheduling, dependency analysis, abend resolution, restart/recovery, and batch-cycle monitoring.\nAbility to perform technical impact analysis, debugging, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and code reviews across CA Gen and Mainframe components.\nExperience supporting unit testing, SIT, UAT, release/deployment activities, and post-production validation.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.\nExperience assessing legacy CA Gen applications for maintainability, scalability, and modernization readiness.\nExposure to modernization approaches such as component rationalization, API enablement, re-platforming, or progressive replacement.\nThese will help you stand out\nExperience resolving complex performance and production issues across CA Gen and Mainframe applications.\nExperience providing technical guidance on complex application development and design decisions.\nWe're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
