Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.\nWhat you need to have to be considered:\nAnalyse business requirements and prepare technical design specifications.\nDesign develop test and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL DB2 JCL and VSAM.\nDevelop and modify batch and online processing programs to meet business requirements.\nCreate maintain and troubleshoot JCLs PROCs and batch schedules.\nWrite complex DB2 SQL queries and optimise database performance.\nPerform impact analysis code reviews unit testing system testing and production implementation.\nSupport production incidents perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.\nUtilise TSO ISPF SDSF File-AID SPUFI and other Mainframe tools for development and debugging activities.\nWork closely with business analysts testing teams and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.\nPrepare technical documentation implementation plans and operational procedures.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups retrospectives and release activities.\nMentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.\nSalary and Other Compensation:\nApplications will be accepted until 11/10/2026.\nThe annual salary for this position is between $60K (CA) - 117K (CA) depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.\nThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.\nDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
