The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and SQL Server, with exposure to Angular for front-end development. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in architectural discussions, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain robust applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API.\nBuild and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.\nCollaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.\nDevelop and optimize database objects, queries, stored procedures, and data models in SQL Server.\nParticipate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability and performance.\nWork with Angular to develop and enhance user interfaces, implement UI components, and consume backend APIs.\nDevelop and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and related frontend technologies.\nDesign and integrate reusable UI components, services, and RESTful APIs to deliver seamless user experiences and business functionality.\nContribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.\nMentor junior developers and support technical knowledge sharing within the team.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.\nRequired Skills\nStrong experience in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.\nSolid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.\nHands-on experience with SQL Server, database design, query optimization, and stored procedures.\nExperience developing and consuming RESTful services.\nKnowledge of Entity Framework or other ORM frameworks.\nExperience with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar source control and CI/CD tools.\nUnderstanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.\nPreferred Skills\nWorking knowledge of Angular for UI development and maintenance.\nExperience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.\nExposure to Microservices architecture and Docker/Kubernetes.\nExperience with unit testing frameworks and automated testing practices.\nKnowledge of application security, performance tuning, and best coding practices.\nNice to Have\nAzure App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, or API Management experience.\nExperience working in enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.\nExposure to DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.\nCompensation: - $90,000 to $115,000 + COLA and this position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
