They may change based on business, project, or client requirements.\nWork Authorization\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.\nPlease note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or at any time in the future.\nRequired Qualifications\n 6 to 8 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on C# and .NET/.NET Core technologies.\nStrong experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.\nExperience with Angular and modern front-end development practices.\nExperience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.\nHands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies and cloud-native application development.\nExperience building and supporting serverless applications.\nKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably AWS CDK.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.\nExperience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nInsurance industry experience.\nExperience with cloud modernization and application transformation initiatives.\nExperience working in large enterprise environments.\nKnowledge of software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.\nAWS certifications are an asset.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nSalary and Other Compensation\nApplications will be accepted until November 27, 2026.\nThe annual salary for this position is between CAD $57,600 and CAD $91,000 depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors permitted by applicable law.\nThis position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable compensation plans.\nThe salary, compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
