The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership to development teams, drive platform best practices, and deliver scalable solutions across ServiceNow modules while ensuring alignment with business and IT objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead ServiceNow development activities, including design reviews, code reviews, and deployment planning.\nDesign and develop solutions leveraging ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM, CMDB, CSDM, ITOM, ITAM/HAM, CSM, and HRSD.\nDevelop and optimize Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer workflows.\nArchitect and implement integrations using Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP services, and MID Servers.\nEstablish and maintain CMDB governance, Discovery schedules, data reconciliation rules, and CSDM alignment.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.\nSupport platform upgrades, release management activities, and Automated Test Framework (ATF) implementation.\nProvide technical mentoring and guidance to developers, administrators, and support teams.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex production issues and performance bottlenecks.\nEnsure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and best practices.\nRequired Qualifications\n6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.\n2+ years of experience leading ServiceNow development teams or projects.\nStrong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Service Portal, App Engine, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.\nProven experience with ITSM, CMDB, and CSDM.\nHands-on experience with at least two additional ServiceNow modules such as ITOM, ITAM/HAM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, or SecOps.\nExperience designing and implementing REST/SOAP integrations and MID Server configurations.\nStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ITIL processes.\nExperience with ServiceNow upgrades, release management, and governance.\nPreferred Certifications\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)\nServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)\nCertified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, or HAM\nITIL v4 Foundation\nApplications will be accepted until 10/19/2026\nThe annual salary for this position is between $75,000- $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.\nThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.\nBenefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\n· Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance\n· Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off\n· 401(k) plan and contribution\n· Long-term/Short-term Disability\n· Paid Parental Leave\n· Employee Stock Purchase Plan\nDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
