This role involves ensuring data integrity, validating backend functionality, and implementing automated tests for database-driven applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in mocking database interactions, automating tests for stored procedures, and working with complex SQL queries to validate data consistency and system performance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for database and backend testing.\n\nCreate and execute test cases for stored procedures, triggers, and database functions to validate business logic and data consistency.\n\nImplement mocking techniques to simulate database interactions and isolate testing components.\n\nDevelop and maintain unit and integration tests using mocking frameworks such as Mockito, JMock, or WireMock.\n\nCollaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate database tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.\n\nPerform SQL query validation to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple environments.\n\nWork with API testing to validate database interactions using tools like Postman or RestAssured.\n\nIdentify and report performance bottlenecks in database queries and stored procedures.\n\nImplement data-driven and schema validation tests to verify database changes.\n\nResearch and implement best practices for database testing, data virtualization, and test data management.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience in database and backend testing.\n\nStrong knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and stored procedure testing.\n\nProficiency in mocking techniques for database interactions using Mockito, JMock, WireMock, or similar frameworks.\n\nHands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, NUnit, or TestNG.\n\nExpertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for test validation.\n\nExperience in CI/CD automation with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.\n\nFamiliarity with API testing and backend validation using Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to debug database-related issues.\n\nExperience with test data management and creating reusable test datasets.\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience with performance testing of databases using JMeter or Gatling.\n\nKnowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) and their testing approaches.\n\nExposure to containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nFamiliarity with security testing techniques for database vulnerabilities.\n\nUnderstanding of cloud-based database solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google
