In this role, you will shape reference architectures, platform standards, reusable frameworks, and governance models that enable scalable adoption of Agentic AI across the software development lifecycle and business domains.\nYou will work across technology and business stakeholders to establish robust, reusable AI agent capabilities and accelerate enterprise adoption.\nIn this role, you will\nDefine enterprise reference architectures for AI Agents, Agent Factory, Agent Runtime, AI Control Plane, and AgentOps platforms.\nEstablish architecture standards, design patterns, reusable frameworks, and implementation guardrails for Agentic AI solutions.\nLead the technical strategy for Agentic AI adoption across the software development lifecycle and business domains.\nDrive architecture reviews and technical governance for enterprise AI initiatives.\nArchitect reusable agent capabilities, including memory services, context engineering, workflow orchestration, business rules engines, and tool registries.\nDefine Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration patterns and agent-to-agent communication frameworks.\nAccelerate delivery through reusable agent assets, shared services, and standardized platform capabilities.\nWork model\nAt Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our various well-being programs. Rest assured, we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n20+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.\n7+ years of experience in cloud-native architecture and platform engineering.\n5+ years of experience building AI/ML, Generative AI, or Agentic AI solutions.\nStrong experience defining enterprise architecture, reusable frameworks, design patterns, and technical standards.\nExperience leading enterprise-scale platform initiatives.\nExperience establishing architecture, governance and implementation guardrails for complex technology initiatives.\nStrong understanding of enterprise AI platforms, cloud-native architecture, and modern platform engineering concepts.\nDemonstrated success influencing and collaborating with senior technical and business leaders.\nThese will help you stand out\nExperience with Agent Factory, Agent Runtime, AI Control Plane, or AgentOps platforms and concepts.\nHands-on knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and related integration patterns.\nExperience designing memory services, context engineering, workflow orchestration, business rules engines, and tool registries.\nUnderstanding of agent-to-agent communication and multi-agent architecture patterns.\nExperience developing reusable AI agent components and shared platform services to accelerate enterprise adoption.\nWe’re excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
