You will be a valued member of the Data Engineering and Quality Assurance team, working closely with architects, data engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted data solutions that support critical business decisions.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead test strategy, planning, execution, and quality governance for large-scale data platforms and pipeline initiatives built on Snowflake and AWS.\nDevelop and maintain automated validation frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, schema validation, and data quality testing.\nExecute and oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, and cloud-based testing activities.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria, identify defects, and drive resolution throughout the development lifecycle.\nMonitor quality metrics, automation effectiveness, and defect trends while promoting testing best practices and continuous improvement.\nWork model\nWe believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat you need to have to be considered:\n10+ years of experience in software testing, data quality assurance, data engineering, or a related field.\nStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including testing data loads, transformations, and validation using Snowflake SQL.\nStrong hands-on experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and advanced SQL scripting.\nExperience testing ETL/ELT processes, big data environments, cloud platforms, and enterprise data pipelines.\nProven expertise in test automation, data validation, reconciliation, defect management, and quality assurance methodologies.\nExperience working with AWS-based data services (e.g., S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lambda) and distributed data processing platforms.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.\nExperience within the Energy & Utilities industry.\nThese will help you stand out:\nExperience with Palantir Foundry for data integration, transformation, and validation.\nBackground leading QA initiatives for enterprise-scale data modernization programs.\nKnowledge of data profiling, anomaly detection, and performance testing practices.\nExperience mentoring QA teams and establishing testing standards and governance frameworks.\nRelevant certifications in Snowflake (e.g., SnowPro), AWS, Palantir Foundry, big data, or software testing.\nWe’re excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
