Depending on experience level, you may also mentor team members, lead technical workstreams, and help uphold development standards and best practices across project teams.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow applications, workflows, and platform capabilities that align with client business requirements.\nBuild and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using web services, APIs, and development best practices.\nCollaborate with project teams and customer stakeholders to analyze requirements, identify risks, resolve technical issues, and deliver successful solutions.\nProduce and maintain technical documentation, support testing activities, and ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards.\nContribute to project delivery by providing status updates, supporting solution design activities, and continuously improving development practices and technical assets.\nTechnical Consultant II: Mentor and guide less experienced team members, review technical deliverables, and take ownership of more complex solution development activities with minimal supervision.\nWork model\nWe strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.\n2+ years of ServiceNow platform development and configuration experience with demonstrated project success.\n1+ year of experience in software development, consulting, service management, or a related technical field.\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.\nHands-on experience developing solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web technologies.\nExperience building integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST APIs and web services.\nKnowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and Agile delivery methodologies.\nExperience troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to manage priorities, work independently, and deliver high-quality results in a collaborative environment.\nThese will help you stand out\nExperience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, SACM, or other ServiceNow product suites.\nProven experience in an additional ServiceNow product line beyond System Administrator foundations.\nKnowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations and integrations.\nStrong documentation, solution design, and technical analysis capabilities.\nExperience reviewing code, test plans, and technical deliverables.\nTechnical Consultant II: Demonstrated experience mentoring junior consultants and providing technical leadership within project teams.\nProven ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to delivery best practices.\nApplicants will be accepted till 08/30/2026\nCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.\n*Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future*\nThe annual salary for this position will be in the range of $108K - $125K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate\nThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.\nBenefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMedical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance\nPaid holidays plus Paid Time Off\n401(k) plan and contributions\nLong-term/Short-term Disability\nPaid Parental Leave\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan\nWe're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
