This is a unique opportunity to join our rapidly growing Clinical Intelligence team, where you’ll work on building impactful healthcare technologies that streamline and optimize the prior authorization process using AI/ML and Advanced Rules Engines.\nWhat you’ll do:\nContribute to the functional & technical roadmap for the team, working alongside cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact deterministic rules-based and AI-driven healthcare automation solutions\nActively support the technical design process, bringing your expertise and analysis to help make data-driven decisions\nContinuously discover, understand, and implement new technologies & services to maximize development efficiency\nContribute heavily to feature design, development, testing, and delivery of our cloud platform and web applications\nSupport all parts of our platform from the database to the frontend\nDrive daily engineering release once 2-4 times a month\nPerform production support duties 1-2 times a year\nCollaborate closely with teammates in product and design to build applications providing healthcare practitioners with the highest quality user experience\nWhat you’ll need: \nBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, software engineering, or equivalent experience\n0 -3 years of full time experience in software development lifecycle\nProficiency with Java or Python\nExposure building applications using React and Javascript\nExposure with common software development practices such as version control, unit testing, and CI/CD\nFamiliarity with cloud development AWS/Azure\nFamiliarity using relational (MySql, Postgres) and NoSQL (Dynamo, Elastic, Mongo) datastores along with data access patterns and strategies\nAbility to demonstrate a high level of ownership for the entire SDLC, including designing, building, testing, deploying and supporting production services in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to be autonomous and be a self-starter with ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and requirements\nNice-to-haves\nIntegrating AI/LLM-based systems into product workflows.\nOpen source or community projects\nDesigning or implementing agent based systems or AI products involving autonomous or task-driven agents \nExperience with Typescript\nAbout Cohere Health:\nCohere Health’s clinical intelligence platform delivers AI-powered solutions that streamline access to quality care by improving payer-provider collaboration, cost containment, and healthcare economics.
