Authenticity. Connection. Balance.\nAt Cohere, we believe community is the most valuable amenity.\nWe do more than manage communities-we help create places where people connect, belong, and thrive. By partnering with some of the nation’s most innovative master-planned communities, we create places residents are proud to call home and where meaningful relationships flourish.\nWe’re looking for a Community Operations Manager to join our team in Frisco, Texas. This role is responsible for the operational details that keep a large-scale community running well-from community governance and landscape management to vendor relationships, contracts, maintenance, financial oversight, and resident communication.\nThis is an opportunity for someone who notices the details, takes ownership through resolution, and understands that strong community operations require both sound business judgment and strong relationships. You’ll work closely with residents, vendors, contractors, board members, and internal partners to protect the community’s physical and financial health while creating a responsive, well-managed experience for the people who call it home.\nIf you’re highly organized, financially aware, comfortable managing competing priorities, and believe governance works best through education, communication, collaboration, and mutual respect, we’d love to meet you.\nWhy People Choose Cohere\nThe best communities are built by people who feel supported, valued, and empowered to do their best work. That’s why we invest in benefits, time away, and professional growth that help our team members thrive both personally and professionally.\nHighlights Include:\nMedical coverage available on your first day\nEmployer-paid dental coverage\nVision coverage\n401(k) retirement plan\nEmployer-paid Life Insurance, AD&D, and Long-Term Disability coverage\nPet insurance options\nEmployee Assistance Program with mental health, financial, legal, and family support resources\nTravel assistance and identity theft protection\nComplimentary will preparation services\nGenerous paid time off\n16 paid holidays each year, including a Birthday Day and Volunteer Day, in addition to PTO\nProfessional development and growth opportunities\nWhat You’ll Do\nCommunity Operations & Stewardship\nOversee the day-to-day operational needs of the community, with a strong focus on attention to detail, follow-through, and ownership of outcomes.\nConduct regular inspections of community property and assets, identify maintenance needs, and coordinate timely resolution with appropriate contractors and service providers.\nOversee preventive and ongoing maintenance of community assets, including landscaping, pools, amenities, and other shared spaces.\nMonitor community conditions for potential risks and recommend practical solutions that protect the physical and financial health of the community.\nGovernance & Resident Partnership\nSupport community governance, including board-related matters, governing documents, community guidelines, compliance processes, and architectural/design review.\nApproach compliance and governance through clear communication, education, transparency, and relationship-building rather than simply enforcing rules.\nRespond thoughtfully and professionally to resident, owner, and stakeholder questions and concerns, taking responsibility for issues through resolution and keeping the right people informed along the way.\nMaintain accurate association records, documentation, correspondence, and community files.\nCoordinate design review applications, committee materials, communication with owners and contractors, and follow-up on decisions.\nContracts, Vendors & Landscape Management\nBuild productive relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers while maintaining clear expectations around quality, performance, scope, and accountability.\nManage vendor sourcing, bid processes, selection, contracts, and ongoing service relationships.\nProvide active oversight of landscaping and other contracted community services, identifying issues early and partnering with vendors to drive solutions.\nEnsure contracted work is completed to community standards and address performance concerns promptly and professionally.\nFinancial & Administrative Management\nSupport annual budget preparation and ongoing financial stewardship of community resources.\nReview community financial information with an understanding of budgets, financial statements, operating expenses, and vendor costs.\nBalance operational needs with responsible financial decision-making and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.\nManage multiple administrative priorities, projects, records, communications, and follow-up with accuracy and strong attention to detail.\nCollaboration & Communication\nWork closely with the Executive Director, community team, residents, board members, vendors, contractors, and Cohere partners to solve problems and move priorities forward.\nCommunicate clearly, responsively, and professionally, particularly when navigating complex or sensitive community matters.\nContribute to a team culture centered on accountability, collaboration, shared knowledge, and continuous improvement.\nBuild trust by being visible, dependable, and consistent in both day-to-day interactions and larger community initiatives.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nAt least 5 skills and knowledge.\nStrong understanding of large-scale community operations, including landscape management, facilities, budgeting, community financials, and vendor oversight.\nCulturally aware and adaptable, with the ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and provide a high level of service within a diverse, international community.\nExperience negotiating contracts and managing vendor and contractor relationships.\nWorking knowledge of community governance, covenants, compliance, and architectural guidelines.\nStrong financial acumen with the ability to understand budgets, financial statements, expenses, and operational impacts.\nExcellent organization, prioritization, follow-through, and attention to detail.\nSound judgment and the ability to independently identify issues, evaluate options, and drive matters to resolution.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.\nComfort managing multiple priorities while remaining professional and composed in challenging situations.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nCAI professional certification is preferred.\nAdditional Requirements\nAbility to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends as community needs require.\nValid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation for off-site responsibilities.\nAbility to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nCohere is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all team members are valued and
