Duties & Responsibilities\nEquipment Ownership & Reliability\nServe as the technical owner for assigned semiconductor manufacturing equipment throughout its operational lifecycle.\n\nSupport both legacy (analog) manufacturing equipment and next-generation semiconductor manufacturing platforms.\n\nImprove equipment reliability, availability, maintainability, and manufacturing readiness.\n\nLead troubleshooting of complex electrical, mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic, motion control, automation, and process-related equipment issues.\n\nPerform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.\n\nMinimize equipment downtime while improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).\n\nDevelop long-term equipment strategies supporting manufacturing objectives.\n\nManufacturing Support & Continuous Improvement\nSupport daily manufacturing operations by resolving equipment-related technical issues.\n\nLead continuous improvement projects focused on reliability, productivity, safety, and maintainability.\n\nOptimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.\n\nEvaluate equipment modifications that improve manufacturing capability and reduce operating costs.\n\nDevelop engineering standards and best practices.\n\nCapture and implement lessons learned.\n\nCapital Equipment Support\nProvide technical support for new equipment installations, equipment relocations, and major equipment upgrades.\n\nReview OEM equipment specifications and facility requirements.\n\nSupport equipment commissioning and production readiness activities.\n\nParticipate in factory expansion initiatives and strategic capital projects.\n\nProvide technical leadership during equipment acceptance and startup activities as required.\n\nTechnical Leadership\nServe as the primary technical resource for assigned equipment platforms.\n\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to Equipment Technicians.\n\nCoordinate technical activities with OEM suppliers, contractors, Facilities Engineering, and Manufacturing.\n\nParticipate in design reviews, equipment evaluations, and constructability reviews.\n\nDevelop and maintain engineering standards supporting equipment lifecycle management.\n\nDocumentation & Lifecycle Management\nMaintain equipment specifications, engineering documentation, and configuration records.\n\nDevelop and improve preventive maintenance documentation.\n\nSupport spare parts strategies and equipment obsolescence planning.\n\nReview engineering changes for technical accuracy.\n\nEnsure documentation accurately reflects installed equipment configurations.\nEducation & Experience\nEducation\nRequired (One of the Following)\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, or a related technical discipline.\n\nMilitary technical training with demonstrated experience supporting complex industrial, electrical, electronic, mechanical, or automated systems combined with a bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.\n\nEquivalent combination of technical education and directly related semiconductor equipment experience.\n\nPreferred\nAdvanced technical education, professional certifications, or formal training related to equipment reliability, automation, controls, or project execution.\n\nDemonstrated training or experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and highly automated manufacturing environments.\n\nExperience\nSeven+ (7) years supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment or other highly automated manufacturing systems.\n\nExperience supporting legacy (analog) manufacturing equipment and/or advanced semiconductor manufacturing platforms.\n\nDemonstrated success troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment.\n\nExperience improving equipment reliability and manufacturing performance.\n\nExperience working directly with OEM suppliers.\n\nExperience supporting new technology implementation and equipment integration preferred.\n\nCapital equipment project experience preferred.\n\nDesired Technical Knowledge\nSemiconductor manufacturing equipment\n\nLegacy and analog manufacturing platforms\n\nPreventive and predictive maintenance\n\nReliability engineering\n\nRoot cause analysis\n\nEngineering drawings\n\nP&IDs\n\nCMMS systems\n\nSkills\nUnderstanding of outdated operating systems (DOS etc)\n\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.\n\nExcellent mechanical and electrical aptitude.\n\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, OEM documentation, and P&IDs.\n\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to prioritize multiple technical issues in a dynamic manufacturing environment.\n\nDemonstrated technical leadership without direct authority.\n\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n\nWorking Conditions\nSemiconductor manufacturing and cleanroom environment.\n\nManufacturing support and equipment installation areas.\n\nActive construction and capital project environments as required.\n\nOccasional support during off-shift activities supporting manufacturing or critical project milestones.\n\nDomestic travel up to 10% may be required.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.\n\nAbility to work in cleanroom attire.\n\nAbility to climb ladders and equipment platforms.\n\nAbility to lift up to 35 pounds.\n\nAbility to safely work around energized industrial
