Work with Operations, Engineering, Production, and EH&S teams to help ensure equipment reliability, facility uptime, and a safe work environment.\nResponsibilities\nPerform preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment according to established schedules.\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.\nRespond to equipment breakdowns and assist in restoring equipment to service.\nDocument maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues in the maintenance tracking system.\nAssist with facility improvement projects and equipment installations.\nCoordinate with outside contractors and service providers as directed.\nSupport HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, RO water, and other building utility systems.\nAssist with equipment moves, setup, and rigging activities.\nMaintain maintenance tools, spare parts, and supplies.\nFollow all safety procedures and company policies.\nSupport EH&S requirements, including proper handling and disposal of waste materials.\nAssist production and R&D teams with equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.\nEducation and Experience\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nTechnical school training, trade certification, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.\n6+ years of industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or manufacturing equipment experience preferred.\nEPA 608 Certification preferred but not required.\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.\nStrong mechanical skills.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nBasic knowledge of HVAC systems, including RTUs and AHUs.\nBasic knowledge of general construction\nExperience with industrial cooling and chilled water systems.\nFamiliarity with compressed air systems and distribution equipment.\nUnderstanding of RO water systems and industrial utility systems.\nBasic knowledge of UPS systems, generators, and electrical distribution equipment.\nAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance test equipment safely.\nAbility to read equipment manuals, drawings, and maintenance procedures.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nThis version focuses on hands-on maintenance and repair responsibilities rather than engineering, program management, contractor management, and strategic planning activities.\nDepending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.\nCulture Commitment\nEnsure adherence to company’s values (ICARE) in all aspects of your position at Coherent Corp.:\nIntegrity - Create an Environment of Trust\nCollaboration - Innovate Through the Sharing of Ideas\nAccountability - Own the Process and the Outcome\nRespect - Recognize the Value in Everyone\nEnthusiasm - Find a Sense of Purpose in Work\nCoherent Corp. is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
