This role is a hands-on production position in fast-paced, high volume manufacturing cell. Key responsibilities include pouring molds, de-molding products, cleaning and assembling molds, assisting with the layup and breakdown of furnace loads, sand blasting and preparing product for shipment. This is a full-time position that alternates weekly between 3x12 (Friday - Sunday, 5 am - 5pm) and 4x12 (Thursday - Sunday, 5am - 5pm) schedules. $2.10 shift differential\nPrimary Duties & Responsibilities\nCorrectly identify and build molds according to casting schedule\nAssist in building loads for carbonization kilns\nAssist in breaking down carbonization kiln loads\nClean infiltrated product, using the grit-blasting machines, per procedure\nMaintain grit-blasting machines with basic preventive and routine maintenance (daily)\nFollow standard work procedures and detailed instruction\nPrioritize in a multi-task work cell\nKeep accurate written documentation\nMaintain clean, safe and organized work environment\nAssist in preparing and breaking down of furnace loads\nAll other duties, as assigned\nEducation & Experience\nWork effectively with minimal supervision.\nAble to get along well with others.\nBasic proficiency in data entry\nGood communication (oral and written) skills.\nAbility to keep accurate records.\nWorking Conditions\nManufacturing environment \nPhysical Requirements\nAble to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 50 pounds (or heavier with assistance) repeatedly.\nAble to sit, stand, bend, squat, and walk about the facility 12 hours/day\nSafety Requirements\nAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
