The role primarily focuses on API automation, while also involving data validation, data quality testing, and end-to-end testing of data pipelines and reporting flows.\nTechnologies\nJava, Unirest\nJavaScript, WebdriverIO\nMaven, CircleCI\nGoogle Cloud Platform, Cloud Firestore, Docker, Kubernetes\nDatadog, LaunchDarkly\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and maintain automated API tests for services owned by the Data Engineering team;\nWrite SQL checks to validate data quality and transformations;\nTest data pipelines and verify data as it moves through the different layers of the data architecture;\nCheck the accuracy and consistency of data used in reports and investor-facing materials;\nSupport end-to-end testing across Data Engineering services;\nIdentify gaps in test coverage and establish appropriate QA processes and standards;\nJob Requirements\n4+ years of software QA experience, including work with web applications, REST APIs, and/or Salesforce;\nMinimum 2 years of programming experience, including Java (must have, with Spring Boot experience preferably), JavaScript / NodeJS (very desired), Python (nice to have);\nAdvanced SQL skills, including complex queries, data validation, reconciliation, and data profiling;\nUnderstanding of data architecture, including Medallion, and familiarity with Airflow, DAGs, data pipelines, and transformations;\nThe ability to understand system architecture and infrastructure;\nStrong ownership and sense of urgency, with the ability to triage issues, adapt to changing priorities, and manage work across multiple products and projects;\nClear communication and collaboration across teams, including facilitating constructive discussions and helping teams reach decisions;\nAbility to mentor teammates, share knowledge, delegate work, and promote accountability across the team;\nExperience improving team effectiveness by establishing QA practices, coding guidelines, tools, and processes, and introducing useful technologies where appropriate;\nAvailability to occasionally join meetings scheduled as late as 8-9 p.m. Poland time;\nNice To Have\nExperience with API testing tools and frameworks such as RestAssured or Unirest;\nHands-on experience with JavaScript UI automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or WebdriverIO, or with iOS/Android automation frameworks;\nFamiliarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as TestRail and Jira;\nExperience monitoring and validating systems with Datadog;\nWorking knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, particularly cloud-native services;\nBachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline;\nWhat Do We Offer\nThe global benefits package includes:\nResources and opportunities for self-education in technical and non-technical areas;
