This foundational role is suited for individuals passionate about beginning a career in sales. The role is focused on identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the development of a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.\nHOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:\nCollaborate with team members to build and refine outbound prospecting lists.\nIdentify key decision-makers within target accounts.\nCreate and execute multi-channel outreach sequences (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.).\nConduct discovery calls to assess prospective needs and introduce Cohesity solutions.\nRespond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.\nQualify leads using predefined criteria and book meetings for Account Executives to progress opportunities.\nWork closely with account executives to hand off qualified opportunities.\nDevelop deep knowledge of Cohesity’s platform to confidently communicate our value proposition.\nWE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:\nEnthusiasm for sales, with ideally 1+ year of relevant experience\nFluency in German & English language\nComfortable using CRM and prospecting tools\nExperience with researching companies, cold calling, emailing, and navigating organizational hierarchies\nConfident in making cold calls and handling objections\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nReceptive to coaching and continuous feedback\nHigh level of grit and perseverance in a fast-paced environment\nStrong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset\nCollaborative, team-first attitude with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices\nSelf-motivated with a focus on learning and career development\nAbility to multitask and manage time effectively\nCollege or bachelor’s degree\nData Privacy Notice for Job Candidates:\nFor information on personal data processing, please see our Privacy Policy.\nEqual Employment Opportunity Employer (EEOE)\nCohesity is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
