The mission of this role is to ensure the customer's technical requirements are …\nExplored, understood, and captured to ensure that the proposed architecture will meet their needs \nTranslated into solutions that will be successfully implemented and that will ensure repeat business \nThis position needs to be an expert on the core Cohesity product capabilities. Expertise in data center design and practices -- as well as data protection, distributed systems, and solutions at web scale -- are essential. \nHOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:\nPresent Cohesity technology (deep dive) to customer executives, technical leaders/experts and explain how it is applied in various use-cases/scenarios \nConduct discovery workshops with the customer to identify business objectives, document use cases/requirements, and operational constraints \nDevelop high-level architectural alternatives, review with customers, and deliver (written) design plans to meet the customer's needs (especially “at scale”) and includes considerations of special phases of the project (e.g. migration, operational cut-over) for Cohesity implementation teams to follow \nHelp plan and conduct technical demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs) with the account SE \nProvide technical information for RFPs/RFIs \nProvide technical review for all account team proposals \nLiaison with Product Management and Engineering to represent customer/field requirements and resolve specific issues \nAct as technical point of escalation for all architectural and design decisions \nAct as a leader in your territory and across the FTD squad \nDrive results leading product focused cross-functional teams \nWE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience \n10+ years of experience in IT \nExperience in these technical areas required \nStorage, Backup, Virtualization, Linux CLI \nAdditional experience highly desirable: \nDisaster Recovery/Business Continuance \nDatabase Protection and Recovery \nDistributed Systems \nPublic Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) \nLayer 2 Networking and Firewalls \nScripting / Automation \nVisio or equivalent application \nExcellent communication and project-related skills are also required \nStrong verbal communication/presentation skills \nStrong written skills and the ability to create documentation \nSelf-starter with excellent organization and time management skills \nThe ability to work cross-functionally and run meetings to achieve a plan \nThe ability to manage projects and to drive to a deadline \nDemonstratedexperience leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and support high-quality decision-making. \nExpected Travel:\nUp to 60% \n #LI-PK1\nData Privacy Notice for Job Candidates:\nFor information on personal data processing, please see our Privacy Policy.\nEqual Employment Opportunity Employer (EEOE)\nCohesity is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
