No more compromising between enterprise and cloud stacks!\nThere will be a large variety of features to work on including: hyper-convergence, distributed data path, distributed filesystem, data across thousands of nodes, object storage, cloud services, asynchronous programming, performance optimization, software-defined infrastructure, consensus protocols, massively parallel and distributed data sets, infinite scalability, snapshots, resiliency, deduplication, compression, replication, multiple protocols, fault-tolerance, infrastructure and more that we cannot disclose yet.\nHOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:\nDesign, develop, and maintain innovative capabilities across both on-premises and SaaS offerings.\nPartner closely with Product Management and cross-functional engineering teams to define technical strategy and influence the long-term product roadmap.\nArchitect and implement scalable features for both cloud and on-prem environments.\nChampion engineering excellence through test-driven development, code quality, reliability, and operational best practices.\nDrive the delivery of resilient, enterprise-grade solutions that meet demanding scalability and performance requirements.\nFoster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.\nParticipate in Agile development processes and contribute to technical leadership across the organization.\n We'd Love to Talk to You If You Have\nBachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n12+ years of experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.\nStrong software development experience in C++ and/or Go.\nDeep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.\nExperience with data protection, storage systems, filesystems, or related infrastructure technologies is a plus.\nExperience building cloud-native applications, SaaS platforms, microservices, or distributed infrastructure.\nHands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.\nA self-starter mindset with the ability to learn quickly and thrive in fast-paced environments.\nPassion for software quality, testing methodologies, and engineering best practices.\nFamiliarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies. #LI-RB1\nDisclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants.
