They will be a part of a virtual team supporting our deployment of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and its associated products globally. They will work with vendors, contractor resources, and internal team members to do this work, and support all of them when needed. They must be extremely knowledgeable in the use and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, be familiar with financial processes, and be committed to constant learning and personal development.\nResponsibilities include but not limited to:\nDesign, develop, and configure SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud ABAP solutions.\nImplement custom enhancements to standard SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud software to meet business needs.\nExecute UAT and tasks for Upgrades, Mergers and Acquisitions, Vendor Coordination, and other associated projects.\nConfigure and maintain SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting issues related to ABAP programs.\nEnhance SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud modules focusing on Authorization, Data Migration, and Integration techniques as well as recommending best practices or improvements in current product or in the area of ownership for better support or user experience\nMonitor and troubleshoot system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues for the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ecosystem integrations\nPerform regular system backups and recovery to ensure data protection.\nDocument system configurations and procedures for future reference and compliance.\nAssist in system audits and compliance checks to meet regulatory requirements.\nImplement new SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ecosystem modules and features to enhance system capabilities.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to integrate SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud systems with other business applications.\nDevelop and execute system improvement plans to optimize performance and efficiency.\nMonitor all upcoming changes being deployed by SAP. Work on testing plans and keeping senior staff updated on upcoming changes.\nUnderstand downstream impacts of changes including hot fixes. Create impact summary and review with leadership.\nDirect resource allocation and planning with project management teams\nSubject Matter Expert (SME) of the products, services, and the application workings across all parts of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ecosystem including but not limited to Fiori, ABAP, CDS Views, OData, Integration Suite, BADI, and developer coding\nProvide guidance on how to service support tickets and coordinate as needed to resolve issues or incidents reported\nLead root cause analysis\nBe a part of the on-call support during releases/deployments and external coverage\nConfigure Application Extensions\nContribute to, review, and maintain process and system documentation; this includes documenting business processes, technical processes, integrations, software specific documents and knowledge base articles\nServe as backup to other team members to backfill during peak periods, PTO, etc.\nCreate and maintain documentation and audit trails on the systems\nYOUR EXPERIENCE.\nThe successful candidate will have:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field to ensure foundational knowledge.\nExtensive experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system administration to handle complex tasks.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to address system issues effectively.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders.\nIn-depth knowledge of database management to ensure data integrity.\nProficiency in operating systems like Windows and Linux to manage diverse environments.\nAdvanced understanding of network protocols and security to protect system data.\nSAP S/4HANA Public Cloud administration certification to validate expertise.\nExperience with cloud computing platforms to leverage modern technologies.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet business demands.\nLead meetings by setting clear objectives, driving focused and collaborative discussion, and ensuring accountability for timely completion of action items.\nRequired Knowledge and Skills: \nComprehensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud architecture to understand system components.\nWorking knowledge and subject-matter expertise in one or more SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud functional areas, including FICO, Order-to-Cash (OTC), Project Systems (PS), Security, and/or system integrations. Proficiency in system monitoring and performance tuning to maintain optimal operation.\nAdvanced scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) to automate tasks.
