In this role, you will contribute to the n-site installation, troubleshooting, and customer support of our advanced semiconductor testing equipment, serving as the primary technical liaison for our clients.\nImpact You Will Make\nTrouble shooting, provide technical solution, analyse on-site machine issue raised by customer\n\nInstall and set-up equipment and retrofit kit at customer site which include but not limited to vision system, test contacting, interfacing with other sub-system. Perform acceptance of protocol/ buyoff with customer upon installation and set up. Provide equipment operation and basic maintenance training to customers.\n\nReport forthwith on such activity, special problems or technical shortcomings that may affect the smooth operation with other technical staff, with the company’s agent, visit clients where machinery has been installed and organize an efficient after-sale service, with such policies and instructions made by Cohu general direction.\n\nIn collaboration with other technical staff, Cohu main office and the company’s agent, visit prospective clients, analyse their needs, draw up exact specifications of machinery need for machinery or parts\n\nUnderstand customer service process flow (Company ISO), and apply accordingly through daily activity and in house/ on-site support, in order to fulfill company’s vision and quality policy.\n\nUpdate the project issue into Oracle/QI and follow up with the factory (Project Manager, Engineering and Account Manager) to resolved it within committed date. Review all listed issues weekly with customer and internal technical staff.\n\nCoordinate the installation/ setup schedule plan with customer base on the assigned project which needs longer time to complete.\n\nResponsible and follow up the activity for assigned customer. Be the main window to communicate between Cohu and customer on the daily service support (include factory/ engineering support)/ issue on the machine. Escalate to you superior if not getting any internal support.\n\nCommunication between customer and internal staff must be done professionally. Do not over expose internal communication to customer in order to avoid unnecessary conflict.\n\nPrioritize and fulfill customer’s expectation. Manage highlighted issue.\n\nAny tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time.\n\nOur Ideal Candidate\nBackground:\nBachelor’s degree in Micro-Mechanics/ Mechanical or equivalent.\n\nGood knowledge of electronics/ mechanical.\n\nWork Experience:\nStrong background of mechanical/ electro-mechanics or equivalent field.\n\nLanguage Skills:\nFluent English (Spoken and/ written skills).\n\nOther languages will be an advantage.\n\nSpecific Skills:\nTechnical Skills, Mechanical and Electrical.\n\nCustomer relation skills.\n\nPersonal Criteria\nNumber of open issue solve on the field.\n\nClear structured of work approach.\n\nGood communication.\n\nEngineering solutions.\n\nProject handling competence.\n\nNumber of customer handler acceptance protocols signed.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nAt Cohu Malaysia, we offer a collaborative work environment that fosters growth, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
