ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Plans and executes daily and weekly schedule of manpower allocation to achieve weekly shipment, lead time and OTD targets using the production plan provided by the Planning team. Leads in conducting studies in the formulation of new operation rules and procedures to upgrade manufacturing efficiency, minimize production of defective parts and improve manufacturing cycle time. Generates and presents KPI’s to support departmental targets and initiates necessary actions and improvement plans to meet the defined goals and objectives. Plans and monitors the daily activities, issues or problems encountered in the production line during night shift and coordinates with the other departments in the formulation of necessary solutions. Orients and trains new assemblers during the immersion from the first day up to the end of the training period to meet the learning curve and to achieve the defined targets. Studies and recommends annual manpower requirements based on the plan to ensure that required number of assemblers will be utilized.
