As a Business Operations Senior Associate on the Business Operations & Strategy team, you'll partner directly with senior leadership on Coinbase's highest-priority strategic and operational challenges. You'll work primarily with product and sales leaders, structuring complex problems, building quantitative business cases, and translating data into executive-level recommendations that shape product and segment strategy.\nWhat you'll do:\nStructure complex, ambiguous strategic problems for Coinbase's leadership team and develop actionable recommendations backed by data and quantitative modeling.\nBuild business cases and financial models that identify new opportunities and directly inform Institutional product and go-to-market strategy.\nDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of competitive positioning, peer benchmarks, and the evolving crypto landscape to sharpen strategic recommendations.\nDesign and implement experiments to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and drive measurable changes across Institutional products.\nOwn problems end-to-end, from initial framing through analysis, recommendation, and implementation, not just the slide deck.\nStrengthen team capabilities by improving existing processes, frameworks, and operational tooling.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\n5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or product strategy, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end strategic workstreams.\nProven ability to build quantitative models and business cases that have directly influenced executive or leadership decisions.\nFamiliarity with institutional finance, capital markets, or crypto/digital assets markets.\nTrack record of delivering clear, concise written and verbal recommendations to senior stakeholders in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.\nExposure to SQL and BI tools (e.g., Hex, Superset, Looker) or crypto analytics tools (e.g., Dune Analytics, Etherscan) is a plus but not required.\nUtilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.\nPosition ID: P77079\nPay Transparency Notice: Base salary varies by location (see range below).
