Expect to get together quarterly for intense in-person working sessions called “surges.” learn more about working at Coinbase.\nAs the Regional Security Manager, APAC, you'll lead the development and execution of Coinbase's regional security strategy on the Global Security team, protecting our people, workplaces, and operations across a diverse and rapidly evolving region. You'll own the physical security program for APAC offices, critical facilities, and data centers, partnering with business leaders and cross-functional teams to manage risk, strengthen resilience, and drive incident response across multiple countries.\nWhat you'll do:\nOwn the APAC physical security operating plan, regional risk register, site security standards, and remediation priorities across offices, critical facilities, and data centers.\nLead site assessments, vulnerability reviews, security hardening projects, new office openings, relocations, and security system deployments across the region.\nServe as the regional escalation point and Incident Commander for significant security events, coordinating the GSOC, workplace teams, vendors, building management, and emergency services.\nGovern regional access control, badging, visitor management, secure area access, and audit readiness while managing contracted security providers through SLAs, KPIs, and QBRs.\nDevelop and maintain regional policies, SOPs, playbooks, drills, tabletop exercises, and employee-facing security guidance informed by APAC threat intelligence and local conditions.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\n8+ years in physical security, risk, or resilience operations within a multinational organization, including 5+ years leading APAC regional security programs across multiple countries and sites.\nProven experience serving as Incident Commander during complex, cross-functional, or high-consequence security events with documented outcomes.\nHands-on experience implementing and managing access control, CCTV, alarm, visitor management, and guard force systems across multiple facilities.\nDirect experience conducting risk and vulnerability assessments and converting findings into measurable, time-bound remediation plans.\nTrack record managing security vendors through SLAs, KPIs, QBRs, performance improvement plans, and contract renewals in APAC markets.\nUtilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.\nPosition ID: P78374\n#LI-Hybrid\nPay Transparency Notice: The target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below.
