As an Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team developing reliable data services and the privacy and governance capabilities that help teams use data responsibly.\nWhat you’ll do\nLead, coach, and grow engineers; support their development and career progression.\nPartner with Product, Design, Engineering, and senior leaders to set a clear quarterly roadmap and deliver it iteratively.\nGuide technical decisions and promote high-quality code, sound engineering practices, and reliable distributed systems.\nStay close to the work through design and code reviews, incident leadership, on-call participation, and troubleshooting when needed.\nOwn processes that improve engineering quality and help the team meet its service-level commitments.\nPartner with recruiting to attract and hire strong engineers.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\n7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in data platform or infrastructure, including 2+ years in engineering management.\nExperience building, delivering, and operating distributed systems at scale.\nStrong engineering judgment and the ability to foster quality, maintainability, and effective development practices.\nAn execution-focused approach: able to work through ambiguity, balance near-term delivery with long-term planning, and turn complex goals into actionable work.\nA hands-on leadership style and willingness to engage in technical work and operational responsibilities.\nExperience leading technical change in a large, fast-moving organization.\nFamiliarity with blockchain infrastructure, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.\nClear communication, ownership, and a strong customer focus.\nUtilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.\nPay Transparency Notice: The target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below.
