As a senior engineer, you will work across the full stack of our systems: foundational processing and storage, scalable pipelines, and the frameworks and internal tools that make data easy to use. \nWhat you’ll do: \nDesign, build, and operate foundational data services, including storage (cloud warehouse, data lake), orchestration (Airflow), batch processing (Spark, SQL), and streaming (Kafka).\nBuild and maintain data integration and processing SDKs used by internal services and product teams.\nDesign self-service tools so users can manage and troubleshoot their own data pipelines.\nBuild services for data security, observability, quality, cataloging, and lineage.\nTurn requests from analysts, ML, and security teams into reusable, scalable patterns.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\n5+ years of experience in software engineering, including senior-level ownership.\nStrong Python, Go, or Java backend development skills.\nHands-on experience with data systems or data pipelines.\nFamiliarity with design patterns such as scale-out, caching, key/value, and columnar storage.\nWorking knowledge of SQL and Airflow for operational data analysis.\nUtilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.\nPay Transparency Notice: The target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below.
