This role works closely with the broader Accounting & Finance team and plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy of financial data across CoinFlip’s digital asset operations and ATM network.\nResponsibilities:\nCrypto Accounting & Digital Asset Management\nPrepare and maintain monthly rollforwards for BTC, ETH, LTC, and other supported digital assets.\nReconcile wallet balances to blockchain data and internal subledgers.\nPerform wallet data cleanup, validation, and exception resolution.\nProcess and account for crypto donations, rewards, and incentives.\nPerform fair market value (FMV) calculations and remeasurements for digital asset holdings.\nSupport position checks and proof-of-reserves style reconciliations.\nRecord and reconcile hardware wallet activity, including Trezor and cold storage.\nFinancial Close & Reporting\nPrepare and post journal entries for month-end close.\nPrepare balance sheet account reconciliations.\nSupport flux analysis and variance explanations.\nMaintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.\nAssist in preparing financial reporting schedules and audit support packages.\nAssist with monthly closing processes and financial statement preparation.\nProcess & Collaboration\nDevelop spreadsheet reports, verify information, and reconcile accounts.\nAnalyze current accounting policies and procedures and recommend improvements.\nContribute to SOP development and support cross-functional teams on accounting processes.\nRespond to information requests and research accounting and financial questions.\nCollaborate with other departments on special projects.\nMeet processing and reporting deadlines.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.\nAt least one year of related accounting experience.\nWorking knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain fundamentals (required - this role is focused on digital asset accounting).\nUnderstanding of GAAP and general financial accounting principles.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP preferred.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nNice to Have:\nPassion for fintech and the evolving cryptocurrency landscape.\nExperience with Alteryx, Tableau, or similar data/BI tools.\nExposure to multi-entity or international accounting environments.\nCompensation:\nAnnual Base Salary: $13,000-$21,000 USD\nWorking at CoinFlip means collaborating with experienced and innovative leaders who share a clear vision and a track record of success.
