We’re currently looking for Monday through Friday, working 6:30AM to 3:00PM.\n\nJob Summary:\nAs a Forklift Operator at Cardinal Equipment Services, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for safely handling and transporting cold drink equipment and supplies within our facility. Your role will involve operating industrial forklifts, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. \n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\nWork as part of a team to achieve daily goals: Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain workflow efficiency.\nOperate handheld/PC: Utilize handheld devices and PCs to manage inventory and track equipment.\nReview daily production schedule: Monitor and adhere to the daily production schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks.\nSafely operate industrial forklift: Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner to transport equipment and supplies.\nLoad and unload trailers of cold drink equipment and supplies: Handle the loading and unloading of trailers with precision and care.\nTransport equipment to assigned areas in facility: Move equipment to designated areas such as Triage, Core storage, Wash Bay, Fountain, and Finished Goods.\nStack equipment as needed: Organize and stack equipment to optimize space and accessibility.\nShrink-wrap equipment: Apply shrink-wrap to equipment for protection and stability during transport.\nAssist with equipment inventory: Participate in inventory management and ensure accurate record-keeping.\nSystematically close out orders: Complete order processing and documentation systematically.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the day: Ensure the workspace is kept clean and safe, adhering to company standards.\n\nSkills and Abilities: \nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExcellent teamwork and communication abilities.\nCommitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.\nPhysical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.\nValid forklift operator certification.\nFollow all prescribed safety and security measures protecting all associates and company assets.\nMinimum age is 18 years old.\nUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with safety policies.\nRegular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job.\nAbility to read, write, and speak English.\nAbility to utilize all company-provided resources and technology.\nAbility to maintain a neat, professional appearance within company guidelines.\nEffective quality management and technical skills needed.\nBasic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools.\n\nEducation and Experience: \nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nProven experience as a forklift operator.\nAbility to operate handheld devices and PCs.\n\nWork Environment:\nWork performed on cement floors in a warehouse environment.\nWork is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperature conditions, including heat, cold and humidity.\nNoise levels are typically moderate to high due to machinery, powered industrial equipment, and general warehouse operations.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nRepeated sitting, standing on cement floors, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, up to 35 lbs.\nFrequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, twist, reach, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.\nContinuous bending, kneeling squatting, grasping, reaching, fine manipulation and exposure to chemicals and noise. \n\nWork Requirements:\nFollow all Company Safety Rules.\nMust adhere
