The role involves overseeing daily operations, maintenance activities, plant performance and regulatory compliance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMonitor and maintain wastewater treatment systems and recycled water facilities. \nInspect and assess lagoon conditions and plant performance. \nCollect operational data, samples and water quality information. \nCoordinate maintenance activities and repairs. \nManage sludge removal and disposal activities. \nMonitor equipment and manage chemical ordering.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards. \nIdentify opportunities to improve plant performance and efficiency\nAbout you:\nRequired:\nCertificate III in Water Industry (or equivalent experience).\nAt least 5 years' relevant experience.\nExperience operating and maintaining water and/or wastewater treatment plants.\nStrong problem-solving, communication and record-keeping skills. \nDesirable:\nKnowledge of the Victorian water industry.\nExperience with mechanical equipment, welding, concreting, corrosion protection, environmental management or weed spraying\nSound like you?
