Beyond managing a larger portfolio, you'll act as a go-to expert within the Account Management team: mentoring colleagues, sharing best practices, and helping raise the standard of client service across the team. This is a senior individual contributor role, ideal for an experienced fintech professional who wants to deepen their impact without moving into formal people management.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn a portfolio of high-value, high-volume, and complex merchants, acting as their trusted advisor and single point of contact across finance, compliance, and operations\nLead onboarding of complex or higher-risk merchants, including in-depth document review and close collaboration with Compliance on enhanced due diligence\nHandle escalations and sensitive client situations, driving them to resolution and protecting long-term relationships\nIdentify growth opportunities within your portfolio (upsell, cross-sell, volume expansion) and contribute to client retention and revenue targets\nMonitor portfolio performance and client health, proactively flagging risks and proposing action plans\nMentor and coach Account Managers: support them with difficult cases, share knowledge, and help new team members ramp up\nContribute to training materials, internal playbooks, and onboarding guides for the team\nAct as the voice of the client internally, feeding insights to Product, Compliance, and Operations to shape improvements and new solutions\nChallenge existing processes and lead initiatives that improve efficiency and client experience\nEnsure the client database and account records for your portfolio are accurate and up to date\nYour Profile:\nStrong client-first mindset with a track record of building long-term B2B relationships\nConfident communicator, able to negotiate, influence, and hold difficult conversations with senior client stakeholders\nNatural mentor who enjoys helping others grow and sharing expertise\nStrategic and analytical thinker, comfortable working with data to assess portfolio performance\nHigh level of autonomy: able to manage a complex workload and make sound decisions independently\nProactive and solution-oriented, with the confidence to challenge established norms\nWhat you need to succeed in this role:\n2+ years' experience in account management or a similar client-facing role within a regulated entity (payments, banking, or fintech)\nProven experience managing key or strategic accounts, including complex merchant onboarding\nSolid understanding of payments products, merchant risk, and compliance requirements (KYC/KYB, AML)\nExperience mentoring or informally coaching colleagues is a strong advantage\nHigher education in Business Management, Economics, or a related field is an advantage\nExcellent written communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly\nFluency in English and Russian (additional languages are an asset)\nWhat We Offer:\nOpportunity to shape the future of fintech solutions within a growing company\nA collaborative and supportive team environment\nEnglish / Spanish classes\nOpportunity to receive reimbursement for work-related training/courses\n* This position is offered within the COLIBRIX ONE.
