Not the other way around.\nThis role is located onsite at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters.\nCobot will offer a relocation stipend if you are relocating to join our Santa Clara office and currently live more than 50 miles outside of the office location.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, logging inventory transactions, issuing materials, and preparing assembly kits for production.\n\nMaintain inventory accuracy across stock locations by conducting cycle counts, performing reconciliations, and enforcing strict check-in and check-out procedures.\n\nConvert BOMs, work orders, and manufacturing schedules into detailed kit lists while partnering with Hardware Engineering and Build teams to manage engineering change orders, part revisions, existing stock, and overall build readiness.\n\nProactively spot inventory shortages, part discrepancies, and supply risks, collaborating cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve issues and communicate schedule impacts.\n\nEstablish and maintain neat, organized storage and kitting layouts to ensure quick retrieval, efficient issuance, and seamless replenishment as assembly operations scale.\n\nOversee inbound freight and shipments for robotics units, spare components, and vendor-consigned parts across headquarters, external suppliers, and deployment sites, verifying incoming quantities and organizing incoming quality inspections.\n\nMaintain meticulous material records using spreadsheet tracking and inventory software, driving practical process improvements and defining user requirements as software tools evolve.\n\nUphold standard protocols for material handling, warehousing, and logistics while coordinating specialized support for items requiring unique handling compliance.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n4+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related role, including hands-on support for hardware manufacturing.\n\nExperience translating BOMs, work orders, or production schedules into material and kitting requirements, including managing changes to those requirements.\n\nExperience with receiving, inventory transactions, material issuance, cycle counts, and discrepancy reconciliation.\n\nProficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for maintaining material records, reconciling quantities, and tracking kits and shortages.\n\nExperience using inventory management software or ERP/MRP tools to maintain material records and transactions.\n\nAbility to independently prioritize daily materials work, identify risks, and implement practical improvements to inventory or warehouse processes.\n\nHighly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively across Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, and Manufacturing partners.\n\nEnjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative and dynamic start-up environment as part of a small team.\n\nMust be able to lift and/or move items weighing up to 30 pounds.\n\nMust have and maintain US work authorization.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n6+ years of experience in materials management, logistics, warehouse management, or a similar role at a company with a hardware manufacturing function.\n\nExperience working at a fast-paced start-up.\n\nExperience designing or improving upon a warehouse organization system.\n\nExperience interacting directly with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.\n\nUnderstanding of domestic and international shipping requirements and ability to prepare shipping documentation. Familiarity with HTS codes, ECCN basics, Incoterms, and controlled-item handling is preferred.\n\nThe base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience level. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the noted geographic area.
