This is a product engineering role with high ownership across the stack, working closely with Product, Design, and Operations to ship fast and iterate based on real customer needs. You’ll be expected to use modern AI tools and agent-based workflows to accelerate development, improve code quality, and unlock new product capabilities. This role is ideal for engineers who think in terms of outcomes, not tickets, and who see AI as a core part of how software gets built today.\nWhat you'll do:\nOwn features end-to-end - define the problem, build the solution, deploy it, and iterate until it works\n\nShip high-quality, user-facing product experiences across frontend and backend systems\n\nPartner with Product and Design to break down ambiguous problems into simple, effective solutions - then build them\n\nLeverage AI-powered development tools (code generation, copilots, agent workflows) to move faster and cut manual overhead\n\nIdentify and implement AI capabilities in the product where they meaningfully improve the member experience\n\nShip continuously, instrument what you build, and use customer behavior and feedback to drive the next iteration.\n\nMake system design decisions that balance speed, scalability, and maintainability - and own the tradeoffs\n\nBuild and improve developer workflows through automation, internal tooling, and AI-assisted processes\n\nA habit of evaluating new tools, frameworks, and approaches - and a willingness to recommend what works and kill what doesn't\n\nWhat you'll bring:\n5+ years of experience building and shipping production software in a product-focused environment\n\nStrong fullstack engineering skills (e.g., Python, Django, React, or similar modern frameworks)\n\nTrack record of owning features or systems end-to-end and delivering measurable user impact\n\nExperience using AI developer tools (copilots, code agents, custom workflows) to ship faster - not just experiment with them\n\nAbility to take a loosely defined member problem and drive it to a shipped solution without waiting for a fully specced PRD\n\nProduct instinct that lets you make good scope and UX tradeoffs without a designer in every conversation\n\nClear communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical partners\n\nDemonstrated ability to integrate AI agents and automation into development workflows and product features\n\nWhat we offer:\nHybrid Work Model: Based in San Francisco with a balance of in-office and remote flexibility.\n\nFresh Lunch: Provided on in-office days.\n\nCommuter Support: $150 monthly reimbursement for transit expenses.\n\nHealth & Wellness: $200 quarterly reimbursement to support your well-being.\n\nTime Off: Flexible PTO plus 14 company holidays.\n\nComprehensive Coverage: 100% medical, dental, and vision for employees;
