Our stack is Python-first, and we’re looking for engineers who are comfortable designing and evolving backend systems in Python. Experience with React is a strong plus, especially if you enjoy working across the stack to deliver polished, user-facing experiences. You'll collaborate closely with the founder, engineering leadership, product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ship high-quality, impactful features for healthcare providers and patients alike.\n\nWe are a hybrid company, partly based in Santa Monica, USA and partly remote, spread out around the United States & Europe.\n\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\nWork closely with the founder, product managers, designers, and engineers to design and build a high-impact product.\n\nBuild and ship critical features with intent, strong attention to detail, and a focus on long-term maintainability and scalability.\n\nOwn features end to end, from shaping requirements and implementation to testing, observability, deployment, and iteration in production.\n\nContribute to and help shape our engineering culture as the team grows.\n\nRequired Qualifications\r\n\nYou have 6+ years of experience building and operating complex web applications in production environments.\n\nYou have strong experience building backend systems, ideally in Python using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.\n\nYou’re comfortable working across the stack. Experience with React is a strong plus, especially if you enjoy building thoughtful, user-facing experiences.\n\nYou understand that velocity and quality aren’t opposites. When well done, they’re multiplicative.\n\nYou think in terms of outcomes, not just implementations.
