Your recruiter will be able to clarify expectations and answer any questions you have.\nWe’re looking for an Employee Relations Partner to join our People team. You’ll partner with the Director of Employee Relations to build and manage our employee relations program. This includes establishing policies, managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, performance management and providing guidance on disciplinary processes. You’ll work closely with management and other People team members to ensure that employee issues are addressed promptly and effectively, and that the organization maintains a positive and productive work environment.\nYou’ll report to the Director of Employee Relations and work on-site at our Jersey City, NJ headquarter office.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nInvestigate and manage complex employee relations issues, including harassment, discrimination, policy violations, unethical or illegal conduct and workplace conflict.\nDevelop and implement policies and procedures related to employee relations and ensure compliance with state and federal legal requirements.\nProvide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations matters.\nConduct training for managers and employees on topics related to employee relations, such as conflict resolution, and harassment prevention.\nCollaborate with HR business partners, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and fair resolution of employee relations issues.\nMaintain accurate records and documentation of employee relations cases.\nAnalyze trends and identify areas for improvement in employee relations policies and practices.\nConducts exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management.\nSupport the development of an inclusive and positive workplace culture.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned. \nBring the Collectors Values to life by consistently championing integrity, respect, and teamwork throughout the organization.\nWho You Are:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred not required)\nMinimum of 2-3+ years of experience in employee relations, HR frontline facing or a related field\nMinimum of 3 years working with a unionized or labor-relations environment, partnering on grievance or dispute resolution.\nExperience supporting Light Manufacturing and Corporate role teams\nStrong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly those related to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills\nExcellent interpersonal, counseling, and influencing skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.\nDemonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.\nExperience conducting workplace investigations and providing guidance to managers and employees.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nHR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, Wicklander Certified or AWI Training) is preferred but not required\nExperience working in a large, complex and remote organization (preferred not required) \nSalary Range: The salary range for this position is $83,784 - $113,355.
