The Research Trainer is responsible for delivering training programs to new hires within the PSA Research Department. This role focuses on administering curriculum-based training, providing metric-based feedback to trainees, and contributing to the development of training materials. The Research Trainer supports the team's overall mission to ensure the Research department is properly equipped to identify trading cards, including sports trading cards, non-sport trading cards, and Trading Card Games (TCGs), as well as research unknown sets across vintage and modern collections.\nYou’ll report to the Research Quality and Training Manager and work from our Boca Raton, FL office.\nOnsite Requirement: This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nAdminister training using established curriculums and provide metric-based feedback to trainees\n\nProvide curriculum feedback to support continuous improvement\n\nAssist in curriculum development initiatives\n\nAssist in workshop development, including quarterly workshops\n\nAssist in the creation of ad hoc guides and One Point Lessons (OPL)\n\nSupport intra-departmental training efforts, including dual grade service and pack service\n\nSupport inter-departmental training efforts, including Grading, Sealing, and V2 training\n\nAssist in creating and updating training curriculums\n\nSupport company expansion at new offices, with some travel possible\n\nParticipate in other duties as assigned to support the Research Training Team\n\nWho You Are:\n1+ years of Research Department experience required\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nAbility to provide constructive feedback and metric-based assessments\n\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems preferred\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nComputer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time\n\nHand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks\n\nHearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions\n\nLifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds\n\nSitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time\n\nHourly Rate: The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $22.
