This role ensures a safe, clean, and productive environment by protecting personnel, safeguarding assets, and managing facility access. Responsibilities include overseeing and developing the Workplace operations team, resolving internal and external issues, and partnering with business leaders to support growth and culture.\nYou’ll report to the Senior Manager of Workplace and work from our Jersey City, NJ office.\nOnsite Requirement: This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDevelop and own Workplace and Facilities operations for the PSA location in Jersey City, NJ\n\nLead the development of the local Workplace team, both contract and full time hires, include hiring, training, coaching and career development\n\nCoordinate and schedule the work of the custodial team, developing team schedules and SOPs to get the job done\n\nOwn Workplace vendor management and administrative responsibilities for the sites - processing contracts, onboarding vendors, coordinating insurance, managing vendor relationships & performance\n\nDevelop and own a holistic preventative maintenance program for the site, ensuring reliable operability and a best-in-class facility for our staff and clients\n\nOversee and streamline administrative functions at the sites including: mail, food and beverage program, copiers, office supplies, and employee services\n\nServe as the key point of contact for candidates, colleagues, and visitors onsite\n\nContribute to projects to improve facility and employee health & safety\n\nOversee and manage facilities equipment vendors for operational environments.\n\nLiaise between Workplace and other departments, collaborating with Ops leadership on relevant issues\n\nManage internal customer tickets and requests through the ticketing platform, ensuring timely response and resolution\n\nWho You Are\n5+ years of management experience, including 3+ years in Corporate Workplace and 1+ year in Operations preferred.\n\nBachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills; able to understand and relay company policies/procedures.\n\nInfluential leader with the ability to inspire/motivate, drive change, and build strong relationships across the organization.\n\nDependable, personable team player with excellent collaboration skills.\n\nStrong team management and planning/organizational skills; adaptable and capable of developing/executing realistic action plans in a dynamic environment.\n\nPreferred ability to use Google Docs, Google Sheets, Slack, etc.\n\nSalary Range: The salary range for this position is $73,000-$86,000.
