Your journey starts here.\nJob Summary:\nWe are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on, and strategic Analytics Engineer to design and develop trusted, scalable data analytics products. This role will interface directly with business and technology stakeholders. You will define requirements, model data for analytics, and develop data pipelines that transform raw and operational data into well-modeled, business-ready datasets that support marketing, web insights, behavioral analytics, business intelligence, and AI-powered analytics.\nThe ideal candidate demonstrates strong business acumen, communication, SQL, data modeling, and analytics development skills. They have deep technical expertise in Google Analytics, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. The ideal candidate combines business analysis with hands-on experience developing reusable ELT transformations, dimensional models, semantic-ready datasets, and data quality controls. This individual will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making and advancing enterprise data modernization initiatives.\nPrimary Functions:\nWeb, Digital & Marketing Analytics\nServe as a technical subject matter expert for Google Analytics and enterprise web analytics data.\nDesign analytics data models that support web traffic, acquisition, engagement, conversion, campaign, and customer behavior analysis.\nDevelop and maintain reliable data pipelines and transformations for Google Analytics data and related digital marketing sources.\nIntegrate web behavioral data with customer, booking, sales, marketing, and other enterprise data to enable cross-channel analytics.\nPartner with and enable Marketing, Digital, Product, and business stakeholders to translate measurement requirements into scalable analytical datasets.\nEstablish consistent definitions and reusable data models for sessions, users, traffic sources, campaigns, events, conversions, and digital journeys.\nValidate web analytics data quality and reconcile reporting differences across source platforms, analytical datasets, and BI solutions.\nData Architecture & Engineering\nDesign conceptual, logical, and physical data models for domain-specific solutions based on business requirements, using 3NF and dimensional modeling approaches as appropriate.\nDesign reusable analytics data products and structures across the Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Data Lakehouse, and Reporting/Analytics layers.\nDesign and develop modular, reusable ELT transformations that meet data quality, SLA, and performance requirements.\nApply analytics engineering practices including version control, automated testing, documentation, lineage, code review, and CI/CD.\nOwn data quality, reconciliation, observability, and performance for curated analytical datasets.\nSupport production analytics data products and resolve data issues across the analytical value chain.\nLeadership Qualities:\nEnable and teach key stakeholders and users to leverage new data & analytics products.\nDemonstrate understanding of and document current state business and systems processes.\nOutstanding attention to detail with high levels of concentration.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to multi-task with a strong drive for results.\nDemonstrated ability in prioritizing and handling multiple projects.\nExcellent project management skills with a proven ability to meet established deadlines.\nExtensive latitude for independent judgment, must be able to work independently\nTalent for quickly learning new disciplines, approaches, technology, etc.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nBusiness Intelligence & Analytics\nPartner with BI developers and analysts to deliver Power BI semantic models, reports, dashboards, and data agents using trusted analytical datasets.\nContribute to and support Snowflake Cortex and Microsoft Copilot Data Agents by providing governed, well-documented, AI-ready data products.\nData Governance & Quality\nPartner with Data Governance teams to establish metadata management, lineage, master data management, and data quality standards.\nManage Data Governance (Metadata Mgmt., Data Lineage, Data Quality, Data Access & Security, Data Privacy, Compliance) \nImplement architectural controls supporting privacy, security, and retention requirements.\nCollaborate with governance and catalog teams to ensure data discoverability and trusted data assets.\nKnowledge and Skills:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.\n10+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, data architecture, or related disciplines.\nDeep hands-on expertise with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including its event-based data model and web behavioral analytics concepts.\nStrong expertise in SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, ELT, and analytical data product development.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.\nHands-on experience with modern data technologies including: Snowflake\nMicrosoft Fabric\nPower BI\nGoogle Analytics 4 (GA4) / Web Analytics\nSQL Server\n\nAdvanced SQL skills and working proficiency in Python.\nExperience with modular SQL transformation frameworks and practices.\nExperience with source control, automated data testing, CI/CD, data governance, metadata, lineage, and data catalogs.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nKnowledge of Data Lakehouse, Medallion, dimensional, and domain-driven data architecture principles.\nExperience with marketing and/or behavioral analytics solutions.\nExperience
