You bring previous experience leading projects varying in scope and complexity in the delivery of municipal and private development infrastructure and/or transit projects including light rail, heavy rail, utilities, streetscapes, developments, and other infrastructure projects.\nYou will be at the forefront of ensuring your projects not only meet but exceed client expectations, while having a knack for building strong and trusting client relationships.\nYour ability to oversee multiple projects through the entire project lifecycle will be key in driving these projects to success, from identifying and addressing gaps to controlling costs and ensuring clear, effective communication.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities\nDevelop strong client relationships and act as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectives\nLead programs of work and large capital projects, varying in size and scope\nManage all stakeholders including both clients and consultants\nEnsure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects and the client’s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issues\nRegularly report to the client on project status by means of schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records and other reports\nManage project staff allocated to your projects, peer reviewing their deliverables and continuously developing their knowledge and capabilities\nChair client, project and site meetings, find resolution to issues and coordinate between multiple stakeholders\n Maintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Team Lead or Principal\nQualifications\nQualifications\nA university degree or diploma in landscape architecture (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)\n5 - 8 years of project management experience, representing owners in the delivery of transit, utility, infrastructure and development projects\nFamiliarity with the design process, value engineering, and approvals necessary to proceed with construction in a municipal setting\nStrong understanding of best practice Project Management methodologies and procedures within a PMO environment\nEffective client and stakeholder management matched with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client and technical issues.\nDetail oriented leader with the ability to work in a process driven environment.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.\nStrong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications\nOALA, P.Eng or PMP designations are an asset\nExpected Compensation: $72,158- $103,993 per year (CAD)\nThis compensation range represents our good-faith estimate at the time of posting, based on market benchmarks and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined considering the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications and regional consideration.
