Property Accountant Team Lead

Colliers is looking for an experienced Property Accounting leader to oversee our national property accounting and client reporting function within Real Estate Management Services (REMS).

This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you'll partner with senior leadership, lead a specialised team and drive improvements across finance, systems and operations.

You'll be the go-to expert for property accounting, ensuring exceptional client outcomes, strong financial controls and continuous improvement across the business.

What you'll be doing

• Leading our national property accounting and client reporting function
• Managing and mentoring a high-performing team of trust accounting professionals
• Partnering with senior leaders on budgeting, forecasting and business performance
• Driving process improvement, automation and systems enhancements
• Ensuring compliance, governance and financial control standards are maintained
• Supporting new business opportunities through commercial and financial input
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key clients

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in property accounting, trust accounting or real estate finance
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to develop high-performing teams
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
• Experience improving systems, processes and operational efficiency
• CPA or CA qualification preferred
• A collaborative approach and passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes
