Reporting directly to the Associate Director, Civil, you will play a key role in leading the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, mentoring junior team members, and driving high-quality design outcomes that exceed client expectations.\nSpecifically:\nLead the design and documentation of civil engineering projects from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction support.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary project inputs to deliver integrated and innovative design solutions.\nPrepare and review civil design models, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.\nCollaborate closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and achieve desired outcomes.\nDevelop and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business growth opportunities.\nProvide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to designers and engineers within the team.\nAssist with resource planning and workload forecasting to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.\nContribute to sustainable business growth through the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and commercially successful design solutions.\nManage project risks and apply sound technical and professional judgement throughout the design process.\nWhat This Role Offers\nA collaborative and supportive work environment.\nThe opportunity to work on high-profile land development and infrastructure projects alongside industry-leading specialists.\nExposure to complex and technically challenging design projects.\nAttractive salary package and benefits.\nOngoing personal and professional development, including opportunities for technical leadership and career progression.\n Extensive experience in civil design and documentation, ideally within land development, infrastructure, urban development, or subdivision projects.\nAdvanced proficiency in civil design software such as 12d Model, AutoCAD, and associated design tools.\nDemonstrated ability to lead the design delivery of complex projects from concept through to detailed design.\nStrong understanding of relevant Australian standards, local authority requirements, and engineering design principles.\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and collaborating with engineers, planners, surveyors, and other project stakeholders.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.\nProven ability to mentor and support junior designers and contribute to a positive team culture.\nStrong commercial awareness and ability to manage competing priorities while delivering quality outcomes.\nA proactive, solution-focused mindset with a passion for innovation and technical excellence.\n At Colliers, we are enterprising.
