This role requires a blend of technical know-how, managerial acumen and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional global teams and ensure successful project delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.\nDevelop comprehensive project plans that include timelines, milestones, risk assessments and resource allocation.\nIdentify project requirements and ensure all necessary resources are available for project execution.\nConduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis to support project approvals.\nFollow workload planning processes to register a project.\nLead project teams comprising EUC, Cloud and Infrastructure, and SecOps Engineers, as well as Network and Voice Engineers and other IT professionals.\nCoordinate tasks, assign responsibilities, set expectations and ensure tasks are being completed.\nMonitor project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques (e.g. project dashboards, project cards, SharePoint site).\nEnsure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.\nManage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.\nTrack project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.\nMeet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.\nRegularly communicate project status, updates and progress to stakeholders, including senior management.\nFacilitate meetings, workshops and presentations to keep all parties informed and engaged.\nDevelop strong relationships with customers, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.\nManage stakeholder expectations and ensure their involvement throughout the project lifecycle.\nIdentify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.\nImplement risk management processes to monitor and control risk factors continuously.\nPrepare contingency plans to handle unexpected challenges that may arise during the project.\nEscalate to the project owner/sponsor when needed.\nEnsure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.\nImplement quality control processes to monitor the quality of work throughout the project.\nConduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.\nConduct project evaluations and assessments at the end of each project phase.\nCompile comprehensive project reports that include lessons learned, success factors and areas for improvement.\nEnsure that all project documentation is completed and properly archived.\nFacilitate post-project reviews and feedback sessions with team members and stakeholders.\nKnowledge, Skills and Behaviours\nEssential\nStrong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development and system integration.\nProficiency in project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, Asana).\nProficiency in presentation and communication skills using Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Office products and Copilot.\nFamiliarity with Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations.\nExcellent leadership and team management abilities.\nStrong organisational and time-management skills.\nAbility to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nProblem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address project challenges effectively.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced global environment.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nAbility to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and team members.\nEffective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.\nAdaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced global environment.\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the IT sector.\nProven track record of successfully managing IT projects from initiation to completion.\nExperience working with cross-functional global teams and managing remote or distributed teams.\nDesirable\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.\nAdditional certifications in Agile, Scrum or other relevant methodologies.\nReward & Benefits: What's in it for me?\nWe want our people to feel recognised, supported and able to thrive both at work and beyond it.\nWe offer a competitive reward package designed to support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing, alongside opportunities to learn, develop and be recognised for the contribution you make.
