team.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the development and customisation of complex Salesforce solutions, focusing on CRM, Loyalty Management, Service Cloud and Agentforce.\nUtilise advanced Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components and other Salesforce technologies to extend our capabilities.\nDevelop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the functionality, performance and reliability of Salesforce solutions.\nPerform unit and integration testing.\nSupport user acceptance testing to validate solutions against requirements and acceptance criteria.\nArchitect scalable, maintainable and flexible solutions within the Salesforce platform that meet business requirements and anticipate future needs.\nEnsure solutions are optimally integrated with existing enterprise architecture.\nParticipate in sprint planning, code reviews and architecture discussions as part of an Agile delivery team.\nTackle complex technical issues, providing expert-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis and solution implementation.\nDesign and implement robust integration patterns between Salesforce clouds and external systems, focusing on data consistency, security and performance.\nLead the development of data models, sharing models, permission structures and governance practices within Salesforce.\nMonitor, analyse and optimise the performance of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency and meet scalability demands.\nCollaborate with Solution/Technical Architects and other internal technology teams to define and implement technical strategies for Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.\nGuide the development team through complex coding challenges and architectural decisions.\nMentor and line-manage junior Salesforce developers and engineers, supporting performance, development, engagement and career growth.\nPromote best practices in coding, configuration and continuous integration/delivery, while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and innovation within the team.\nKeep abreast of the latest Salesforce releases, features, technologies and best practices.\nAdvocate for the adoption of new tools and technologies that can enhance business outcomes.\nKnowledge, Skills and Behaviours\nEssential\nDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.\n6+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a proven track record across Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud and related platform capabilities such as Agentforce.\nAt least 2 years in a senior or lead role.\n6+ years of experience with JavaScript.\nExperience building scalable, maintainable Salesforce Flow solutions.\nStrong expertise in Apex, Lightning components, SOQL and SOSL.\nExperience with Salesforce integrations using REST APIs, middleware, Platform Events and other integration tools.\nAdvanced knowledge of Salesforce Tooling and Metadata.\nDemonstrated experience in requirements gathering and translating business needs into technical solutions.\nDemonstrated experience in architecting and implementing complex Salesforce integrations and customisations.\nStrong foundation in CRM principles, data modelling and software architecture.\nSalesforce Developer Certification, Platform Developer II, Salesforce Administrator and any relevant advanced certifications.\nKnowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub and Salesforce DX.\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.\nExcellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring developers.\nExperience delivering AI, Agentforce and automation solutions using technologies such as Salesforce Agentforce, Data Cloud, Prompt Builder, Agent Script, Claude, APIs and workflow automation tools.\nStrong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and analytical approach to challenges.\nAbility to think strategically while maintaining a hands-on focus on solution delivery.\nComfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
