There is a possibility of extension (depending on business needs and your performance).\nYour main responsibilities are:\nTo provide general support in the analysis of samples, and to perform complex sample preparation;\n\nPerform analyses on samples and complex samples preparation;\n\nFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure accuracy and quality of work;\n\nEnsure that quality control criteria are met for all reported data;\n\nUnderstand and troubleshoot analyses;\n\nProvide input to corrective action procedures;\n\nEnsure deadlines are met and that the equipment is appropriately maintained;\n\nUse summary reports to plan and organize work;\n\nAny other related tasks.\n\nYou are an ideal candidate if you:\nHave a bachelor in chemistry, microbiology or biology;\nHave experience in laboratory (strong asset);\nHave the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;\nHave good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills;\nAre dynamic, energetic, motivated and have a positive outlook.\nWork conditions:\nWork schedule: day AND evening, including weekend;\n\nYou need to be available for overtime during the peak season (1-2h/day) from May to December including a 6th day during the week;\n\nPlease note that flexibility for overtime is required to meet business needs. It's important to note that overtime is not optional in this role.
