This position is also responsible for initial troubleshooting of production issues and communicating these issues and potential improvements to Management.\nMajor Areas of Accountability\nCoordinate daily production needs that address safety, quality productivity. \nMonitors the standard of work within assigned area\nEnsure employees follow all applicable procedures\nDirect employees workflow and monitor work assignments to achieve daily production schedules\nAssits with establishing priorities, problem solving and setting goals in production. \nCommunicates team needs and makes recommendations to Management\nAssures workflow between stations and/or departments, providing parts, supplies and tools as needed. \nDocument jobs through manufacturing procedures\nTroubleshoot minor issues and elevate larger problems to appropriate members and/or cross functionals team members\nEnsure employees are adequately trained to perform the work assignment\nTraining and certify employees when necessary\nParticipate in continuous improvement. \nEvaluates systems, processes, or procedures and makes recommendations for improvement. if necessary. \nInvestigate and/or implement production changes \nSupport other departments as needed; such as Warehouse on cycle counts, Quality on root cause investigations and Engineering on process changes.\nServe as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues\nDemonstrate the understanding and applied 6s Lean manufacturing in workplace\nColoplast employees are required to conduct business to the highest ethical and professional standards; comply with applicable laws and regulations, the MedTech Code of Conduct, and company policies.\nOther duties as assigned \nBasic Qualifications\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n5+ years of Medical device manufacturing experience is preferred\nPrevious Lead experience is preferred Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably medical device manufacturing experience\nPreferred basic knowledge of an ERP system \nRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nAdvanced oral and written communication skills with all internal customers\nLead training and cross-functionally train across teams\nFollows through on commitments and helps develop all levels of operators\nLooks for and receives process errors and brings them forward to supervisor/engineers\nLeads in process improvement activities to help with quality and efficiencies\nKeeps a positive can-do attitude\nActive listener\nLean tools and continuous improvement\nTime management\nConflict management tools\nEffective verbal and communication skills\nBasic knowledge of GMP\nAbility to manage multiple tasks\nAbility to work independently\nProven decision making skills\nAbility to analyze problems and develop solutions\nAbility to use small hand tools\nKnowledge of basic computer systems\nAbility to coordinate work flow throughout various operations\nMust work well in a team atmosphere\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel\nMust be willing to be cross-functionally trained\nMust be able to read English at an intermediate level\nMust have basic math skills\nAbility to lift up to 25 lbs independently and up to 75 lbs with assistance\nAt Coloplast, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the contributions of our employees.
